What was the script with the notices apparently on the pie stands talking about looking at the official site re consultation about the new stand?

Hi guys, I got confirmation at the game yesterday that there will be a consultation with supporters starting around about 10-12 April. All supporters/season ticket holders to be given opportunity to air views. Also asked RP direct about season tickets and when will they be released for sale, he did say it would be soon. I should have asked more about the East Stand but I was a bit pissed at the time.

Forgive the cynicism here, but if (as has been rumoured for some time) the stand redevelopment is to take place this summer, there seems to be very little time to consult fans properly, take on board any feedback, modify plans accordingly based on that feeback and then start work - all in the space of around 4-6 weeks (as work would presumably need to start sharpish at the end of the season, if not before if our last games were away from home).
I really want to be proved wrong here, but I can't help thinking this is a bit of a token gesture, and the plans are pretty much fixed already and feedback from fans will make little or no difference. Still, need to ensure they get as much feedback as possible from fans, just in case they really are willing to listen. |
