That was awful indeed. But somehow not a total surprise as we'd KO'd the old squirm. 'twas worth it, almost, for the semi win v huns though.

There's one game that can still give me the dry boak just thinking about it. It was a horrible experience, I couldn't speak for days afterwards. It was my lowest point as a Hibby and we didn't even get beat.

Hearts 4 Hibernian 4.

2-3 2nd replay defeat at the hands of the sticky buns in the scottish cup in 79, ohh that was a heartbreaker.......

0-3 defeat at Easter Road in the first derby after the aborted takeover bid.
Our players should have played for the badge that day, instead they rolled
over and gave those bassa's an easy victory. That hurt like fuck.

About the first words I managed to speak after that was "you said you'd take a point before the game" to a mate who hadn't stopped ranting till near the Roseburn. Very nearly resulted in me getting skelped

The Foster game was horrendous.

My own worst one was getting beat in the 85 lc final. Took me about 2 fecking days to stop greeting.

edit: And getting relegated after the Dundee Utd game wasn't exactly a barrel of laughs either! Took about half an hour to leave the ground.
