07th heaven shuld it be easter road heaven?

watched the cup final dvd the day just put a smile on my face watching it especially the celebrations at the end makes hairs on back of neck stand up but it also got me thinking about the hibs fans who came frm out of nowhere that day 30,000 to watch the final but they dont go to most other games at easter road and i just thought if we build new east stand then it could easily b full attendances everyweek if the glory hunters just went.

with a sell out crowd everyweek with smashing season ticket holder records then it would benifit us hugely better wages and also make easter road a much more intimidating place 2 come to in the dream of becoming a major force in scottish football

any other thoughts?

To be honest, I think the notion of a glory hunting Hibs fan is slightly ridiculous!

Football is far far too expensive for the quality of football on show.

Hibs sell all the players and will never win the league with this ambition.

Plenty other hobbies sports to do and watch which don't cost top dollar.

Dont agree at all with Green Army.

My situation is like this - I have lived all over the UK & Ireland as I have moved for work - Belfast, Dublin, Liverpool and now the south coast of England.

I get to about 10-15 games a season from all above locations - nothing better than getting back to ER to watch my beloved Hibernian with the Auld Boy.

I was at the Final and regard myself as a die hard Hibee - I buy a season ticket each year as I see it as my contribution to the future of the club.

These Im a bigger Hibee than you posts get right on my proverbials.

A Hibee is a Hibee - there are tons of reasons why some of us dont go every week - and when I cant get there Ill be listening to the Hibs match online. There are Hibees all over the world and have good reasons for not going every week.

Incidentally Ive been going for 31 years this year - Im certainly no glory hunter.....

Good show FM, all clubs are the same in the respect that fans will make an extra effort to get to a final, i.e coming back from living/working abroad etc, etc, but to do it consistently throughout the season is very commendable mate! I don't think Hibs have a bigger problem than most club's, with what some people like to call glory-hunters, and they do in fact help boost our income by making the effort to get to the big occassion games like semi's and final's. There are many reason's why fan's cannot attend on a weekly basis, and instead of calling them glory-hunters or lesser fan's, we shud

there efforts to get to the games that they can. I can't get to away games due to work commitment's, but my boss make's sure that I'm off for home game's as I have a season ticket, does that make me less of a fan than someone who attend's all games, or is it balanced out by my having a season ticket?

sorry mate but a 8-10 hours round trips every saturday (not taking into account games being called off) on top of the huge cost of going to football is a bit beyond my means.

Obviously I am a glory hunter.

tbf so do i. theres not an awful lot of glory comes our way often. People do have other comitments. I myself have an unusual work pattern, in the sense that i dont work the same days each week and i get along as often as i can. I dont believe there are many sai "Glory hunters". I do feel that if someone was to be a glory hunter, would they not just go somewhere like Celtic or Rangers where cup wins often feature

I think "fair weather " fan might be a better way to put it, and i know plenty of them.

Dont want to pay 25 quid to go to the footie but will bet 100s in the bookies and if we get to a final they kick up fuck about struggling to get a ticket
