Today's EEN :- "Hibs, however, look like being without midfield stars Guillaume Beuzelin and Brian Kerr once again. The pair have resumed light training but a question still hangs over their fitness. Paatelainen said: "They are only doing a bit of running with the physio and are not yet taking part in the full session. Whether this weekend comes too early for them we'll have to see."

Anyone know what is going on with our formerly mercurial midfield maestro ? Totally pissed off at the number of no-shows from him. Must be some injury....

past caring with boozy a player who has lost desire to play for us and seeks somewhere new hes made it quite clear by not signing a contract let someone else get their chance like chisolm

i still hink think we are short of a centre midfieldier think we need a ball winner someone who puts hard tackles in and winds up opponents think ian black would b decent

We are a miles better team when Boozy plays. Think back to last weekend - no passes strung together until Shiels and Zemmama came on. I for one hope he stays - he is our top midfielder without a doubt

Agree.

Has not been on form this season but we are better with him than without him. If u look closely at how we play in the middle of the park, you can tell the influence Boozy has when playing and how much we miss him when he does not.

We all know the guy has the talent but has he shown it enough at Hibs? Been here four seasons now and imo i do not think he has done near enough to be held in the high regard some people see fit to label him. First season good, second season mixed with phantom injuries then a bad injury, third season hit and miss and finally this season mixed at best too often. I would say thanks for the memories but been a lot off football the past four seasons played and the good memories have been rapidly diluted by gutless perfomances. Bad thing is we have guys lucky to have half his natural ability busting a gut week in week out and they get slated yet this prima donna does a wee flick and he is idolised by some. Good riddance i say as the likes of Rankin and Murray are reliable in what they give Hibs.

He might not have been on his best form this season but he's a composed midfielder who can pick out a pass. When rather than if he goes, I'm far more concerned about us finding this type of replacement than another ballwinning type. Especially bearing in mind Murray has just signed a two year deal and we also have Chisholm for back-up.

Pretty sure in the game against Celtic he picked up a knock on his bad knee. On his day he is one of the best players on the park!

i spoke to him at ibrox and he says he hasnt been offered a new contract yet and was hoping to sign a new one for us i he gets offered one

Not doubting you Sam but if Boozy wants a new contract with Hibs why, on the rare occassion he isnt injured, does he not give his all for the cause. Surely thats the best way to try to get a new deal?

Boozy has been good for Hibs over the piece but I'd be surprised if WBA signed him and astonished if they signed him ahead of a Premiership campaign.
