today's game

I was a bit annoyed today whilst at the game. It appeared that the Strathclyde Police have a real problem with us!! I have to say whilst I know not all of us are angels I think we are a credit to our club when travelling!! Today the boy in front of me was spoken to 3 times by a policeman. None of those times did I think he merited a talking to, whilst the huns on both sides were getting away with murder, didn't see any of the police approach them!! I'm sorry but it does appear to be unfair, they want to stamp out sectarian chanting and abuse yet they are not willing to do anything about it?! Is it just me who feels that it is one set of rules for the old firm and another for the rest of us?

One thing i notice at Ibrox is the amount of fans on both side who spend more time watching each other than the actual game . Can't say i've ever had a problem with the polis in the Weege

Re: today's game

I got bollocked for looking at a strathclyde choocter abuser. Ask any of the Lancs hibs boys that were at the game in October. He was obviously peeved that we pumped them.

It was a woman inspector and she was approachable and listened which was a pleasant surprise.

Take it up with a local MP. You MIGHT get an answer. Strathclyde poliz are just Dogs. They are maybe not all Hun fans but they sure get a bee in the bonnet come match day vs Edinburgh and Aberdeen folks. Id ask you to ask Yams and Sheep fans of their own experiences at Davidmurrayshunsground and Sellick Park (and indeed the National Stadium), its a 30 year joke. Also interesting to note that each and EVERY time we come back from Hunbrox, our fans have bitter stories about cops and "home" fans.
Might be worth gathering dossiers on THEM each time and submitting them at the end of each season to the Chief Poliz Commissioner???

Me and my faither were discussing just this in the pub aftr the game. i like a wind up with opposition fans as much as the next guy but there does seem to be a line down either side of both supports who hardly seem to watch the match at all and spend the whole time trying to stare each other out.
