Another good option now for Bounce buses on big days at Hampden if the Pollok club was ever already booked. Rutherglen Glencairn juniors have recently taken ownership of their new ground right next to the site of the old Southcroft Park (which has been flattened for the M74 extension).

Now they've opened their new social club which is barely more than a mile from Hampden. In fact when the M74 extension is completed, this social club will be not very far at all from the Polmadie Road exit of the M74. The ground is midway between Shawfield and Rutherglen. In fact it would be ideal for a bus load going to Celtic Park for that matter. Just over the Clyde and you're in Dalmarnock.

I've been to the old RCFC club in the past and it was OK.

The gig we have with the Pollok is that they actually phone us to make the booking with the club.

They give us exclusive rights on the day, buses are limited to 7(aprox 350 Hibees), and we have first shout on it.
In the past, '04-'05-'06-'07, semi's & Finals at Hampden, we have had full capacity, and a couple of other occasions where we have taken 3 buses, with other branches booked in tae. In fact, for the Huns SC game, they phoned us to "enquire" about another branch who had booked in.

So our relationship with them is excellent, and its always a great day out in the Pollok, even although we canny make sure the score is the one we want.

We'd have to have a very good reason to stop using them in the future. Hopefully we have many long years for the need to use them.
