Yantorno?

Should we take him? Is he Hibs class?

Reminds me a bit of Paco Luna

You wouldn't bring back Antoine-Curier but you would bring back someone who is out long-term with a serious injury?

He's out 'til the end of the season(or as near) with a knee injury.

This was one of the issues of why they would be toiling to get a team to play Aberdeen. The players believe they would not be covered by insurance, and if they get injured, they'd be fecked.

I'm of the belief that it is even longer than the end of this season. No that Gretna will be around for him when he does recover later in the year.

Injuries heal but lack of ability is harder to remedy.

Lack of ability in what? Defending, maybe aye.

I would agree, he was the one that did make them tick when they did though. However he is too similar to players we already have here - Zemmama, Shiels and Morais. We may need to even move on one of them nevermind bring in someone of a similar style.

Re: Yantorno?

I wondered if any of the gretna players would be worth looking at for Hibs, but to be honest I can't think of any who have stood out enough for Hibs to take a chance on them.

Re: Yantorno?

I would certainly hope that Hibs will be circling round the Gretna fire sale in order to see if we can pick up some promising looking bargains - they clearly don't have the greatest squad in the SPL, but some of them are probably at least worth considering as back up options.

Yantorno probably has looked like one of their better players, but with his long term injury he's probably not a great prospect, at least in the short term.
