Is there any signings you'd like to see mixu make this summer, he's showed hes got an eye for a player with nish,murry,rankin and canning.

Any names pop up in your heads that you would like to see at easter road next season ??

Priority has to be a right back, then maybe a right sided midfielder. Anyone decent out of contct at the end of the season???

Scott Severin: Him and Ian Murray in the engine room would be ideal.

Also a good attacking right sided midfielder and another striker, no idea who though.

first and foremost, we need to get murray on a permanent contract!!!

not too keen on black though.

folk in the boozer after the motherwell game were saying that petrie is trying to get riordan back but i dont know how realiable that is.

The quetion was no dierected at one person just in general sorry mate, i think he'd have to work really hard to get in the team, he would maybe think he could walk right into this team....just my view tho

The Derek Riordan of a couple of years ago would walk into our team. Don't forget - Deek scored screamers with either foot for us. At the moment we're all on about how fantastic Fletch is - and he is - but he can still only kick with one foot. If we could get Deek back, and onto the kind of form he was when he left, he'd walk straight into the side every week. I think we forget just how good the guy actually is.

Whether he can still play like that after however many months of sitting on his backside, who knows. But if he was at his pre-Celtic level, he'd walk into the side. Can't believe there's even a debate about this.

I actually think we'd get a better, more team orientated player, who can still finish like he used to for us.

He was & may still be a target of Mixu's & he was gutted he didn't get to come back in the Jan window as Ian did.

All conjecture though I suppose.

Him aside, I'd like to see us sign another playmaking midfielder pending the loss of Boozy. That's it. I see no need to add to the defence with the options we have there now.

That may well be the case - to be perfectly honest, I haven't really been paying that much attention to the way he's been playing, or improvements etc, as I don't see that much of him on TV, or in the flesh! I assume you've been keeping a closer eye on things though, so perfectly willing to take your word for it. What a prospect though - Derek Riordan with a work ethic! Can't help but think if he'd stayed and developed that work ethic at Hibs, or anywhere where he'd have got a game every week, that it would be a case of "James Mc Who?" in the Scotland set up, as Deek has shown that he can score that Parc des Princes goal with either foot - something McFadden can only dream of.

I'd love it if Deek came back to Hibs - as Ian Murray has shown, a move to the OF, even an unsuccessful one, can improve a player, and I struggle to think of how good a player a "better" Derek Riordan would be!

For me the priority has to be first be Ian Murray.

Another central midfielder is probably required but Kerr/Chisholm may improve.

Then I think the full back positions need to be looked at. I think Gatheussi had improved recently but his distribution/crossing his always awful. To be fair to Zarabi he has just arrived and could well improve but his dsitribution has looked similarly patchy.

Imo if Riordan became a realistic target genuinely within our price range then we should do anything we can to get him back, he was a guaranteed 20 goals a season striker and his crossing/corners weren't bad either.

I've heard that O'Brien is one of our top earners just now? Empty him, and give Deek his money. If he becomes the top earner at the club in the process (apart from the club captain) then fair enough - the 20 goal a season striker tends to be the top earner at most clubs!

May take pelters for this but what I think we need for the right side of midfield is a Rudi Skatchel (sp?) type. Someone with pace, skill and a bit of dig.

Whether we could afford to afford to pay the wages of someone of that quality, of course, is another matter.
