Big Thanks to Mark McGhee (Muttley)

Delighted he felt that he didnt need Colin Nish.
What a Superb goal and I am sure he was fired up by McGhee's comments as well.

Would be interested to hear how the last 10 minutes went (Maka Save?) as interactive coverage went titzup!

We seem to be scraping results without playing that well - more of the same on Saturday please!

Re: Big Thanks to Mark McGhee (Muttley)

Haha, what rubbish. As if he would choose to play for Motherwell over Hibs, let alone the fact he is a Hibs supporter.

I hope we finish 3rd and McGhee goes back to the obscurity he is so familiar with.

MotM for me by a mile, Nish

Weak refereeing for most of the game allowing them to (effectively) kick two of our players off the park. Then Murray gets sent off for committing two "fouls"

It was a victory for commitment, hard work and mental strength - well done Hibs

I thought Hogg was solid yet again so he would have got my MotM
Nish was really calm for his goal
Is Murray suspended for the trip to Ibrox?
The worst decision from the ref was when he pulled play back after Fletch had beaten the last defender, and then didn't even book the player for the foul

The Immaculate Christopher was indeed very good again - but I give my MotM to him most games as it is. I just thought Nish ran his heart out tonight. His work rate was excellent. What a great signing he has been.

Depends on his overall points total whether he gets more than the compulsory one match ban. As he has only been here (SPL) for a few weeks it may well be he is only out for one game (Killie)

Indeed, the advantage rule was made for such situations - he should get hammered for that in his supervisor's report.

Re: Big Thanks to Mark McGhee (Muttley)

Agreed, Hogg was oustanding. Nish's link up play was excellent and his goal was cool as you like!

From interactive coverage the ref seemed to blow before Fletcher beat his man but the sound did seem a bit further ahead than the pictures for the 80minutes until their power cut!

If he blew before Fletch was away then he is still failing in his job - they are instructed to hold the whistle to see whether any advantage occurs. Either way it was a shocker.

This is the same ref that sent Donaldson off at Falkirk earlier in the season. The latest breed of Robots from the SFA and Drew "busby" Herbertson

Murray's first booking was unbelievable. Just watched it again on Sultana, it was mild obstruction at the very least and was his first infringement of the feckin' game.

Second, I think, was fair though and he should have known not to be so reckless after his 1st booking. He has however been brilliant since he returned - get him signed up!

The ref lost control in the 2nd half. How Malcolm never got booked is beyond belief, especially after clattering Zemamma.

Anyway, the 3 points was the most important thing, and we secured them.

Id just said to Brianmac in the first half that underhill is usually a "in the background"ref that is never over fussy, then he comes out and has the worst 45 mins(starting from hogg's push on there guy 20 secs in) ive seen at ER,totally lost control and looked to want to let the linesman make all the decisions..........Feck nose....but really shite ref.

I too thought Nish played a blinder last night - always making intelligent runs and holds the ball up very well. He is a great signing for us. Must admit I was screaming for him to pull the trigger but he took his goal brilliantly.
Mark who?
