I didn't really want to go to the cafeteria so he brought me nuggets. And I came straight to the track, and my masseuse again brought me more nuggets. I just had two, though, because my coach was saying I shouldn't eat so much nuggets before the race.."

Re: Nishy

Nish was superb tonight..

Apart from his goal, it is his ability to hold the ball up and link with others which makes him such an important player for us. He should have made it 2-0 soon after but for another great save from Graham Smith. The Motherwell keeper had a superb game.

I thought he also took up very intelligent positions tonight..he was running off their right full back to good effect. I certainly have underestimated him I think based on what I've seen so far. He has a better touch than I first thought and seems well capable of making a crucial difference in games like tonights. I thought he'd be a useful addition originally but now think he can really lead the line and hopefully continue to gain in confidence to become an integral part of the team.

Thought Nish was class tonight, seemed to be at the heart of everything good we created. The big mans got some great touches and is also putting himself about more.

My thoughts too, as all around me picked the excellent Hogg for MOM, I plumped for Nish based on everything Gav says plus and very well taken goal.

Re: Nishy

Nish had a good game tonight and really enjoyed watching him as he gave us that we bit extra up front and him and Fletch seem to be forming a wee partnership up front, maybe should of got another goal on top of the one he got but well done to the lad hes kept his head down and done the business.

Re: Nishy

I personaly just can't wait to see fletcher(if hes here after the summer) and nish together for a whole season.

With a partnership of them 2, who knows how many goals they could bang in.

Re: Nishy

I've been impressed by Nish whenever I've seen him play for Kilmarnock this season, and I thought he played well again tonight. Given that he seems to have forged an effective partnership with Fletcher, I wasn't optimistic about tonight's game - and so it turned out.

But McGhee is right in that we didn't need to sign him in January because we have Porter. I'm still hopeful that our success in swooping him from under the nose of Dundee United will prove to be the pivotal deciding factor in the battle for European qualification.

Re: Nishy

So, the call for people to admit they were wrong about Maka and Gatheussi has started on a different thread - Nish was slated by many when he was touted as a potential signing, who wants to stand up and say they were wrong, or right???
