Wages
I was speaking to a fellow work mate who told me the players at linlithgow rose are on £300 per week if this is true and collins statement that when we through to ibrox we had players on £500 per week who played in that game at the start of the season then surely either hibs players are 1 of the poorest paid in the spl or linlithgow are on some wages for part time. Just wondered if anybody can shed any light on this.

Wouldn't surprise me if Rose players were on £300 p/w, and nor would it surprise me if Hibs have players on £500 p/w. However, you've got to consider that Rose probably have one or two players on this amount, and that they will be the top earners by a mile. Rose have some guys who could easily be playing SFL football just now, and so they have to offer them attractive wages to drop from senior football to junior football. The Hibs players on £500 will be the guys who are still on their first professional contracts.

£500 a week basic plus all sorts of incentives and benefits i would imagine. Appearance bonus, goal bonus, win bonus, accomodation, meals, private medical care, excellent training facilities and coaching etc. It sounds pretty good to me.
