not sure of his fitness record so perhaps keeping your pay per play assumption in place,or at least geared for that, then definetely. I always thought he looked the part against us when at Celtic and certainly scored a few.
He'd be a great signing if still the player he was in Glasgow |

I'd take him at ER if he was healthy again, not sure what money he'd be on though. Did anyone see him play at West Brom?
Has to be said too that our strikers are looking pretty good at the moment, I like the partnership that could be forming between Nish and Fletch, difficult to imagine Beattie joining Hibs to provide back up, particularly when I'm still hoping Benji will regain his fitness/form. |

not seen beattie play for a while, last time i saw him was possibly against georgia at hampden and he scored, but to be honest thts all i have saw off him, but we do only have nish, fletch an benji who can grab goals, so any injury to them would leave us short of strikers, but saying tht if they stay injury free then who can you take out? imo fletch an nish r forming a decent partnership. an beattie wont be a 'squad player' as he has been tht at celtic

I'd take him hes a good player when hes on his game and he would do good at our club only real problem is that we probaly cant afford his wages.

MAC + Donaldson??? If they are strikers then I am Jesse James.
When I saw that Beattie was on the move i thought he would be a great signing for Hibs as he is in the same mould as JJ (that Mixu rates) and has a longer future ahead of him. Dont think he would sign for any other side in that league and will more than likely wanna head back up to Scotland. |
