went to the area where the kids are allowed in for the 1st time this season it could do with an upgrade now,it is a bit tatty,how often does it get lick of paint,new carpets etc ?

It's not great, but I wouldn't say it's a disgrace. It certainly seems to be geared towards families. I went in before the Dundee Utd game at the end of last year to catch Newcaltle v Liverpool something like 2 hours before kick-off. The place was mobbed and there was a complete lack of seats. I couldn't even stand at the bar as there was a massive queque for the food stand which had extended right around the bar! Ended up just going to the Loch Inn. To call it a supporters bar is a bit rich, it's blatantly a function suite which just happens to have a bar in it. Better pre-match options are available!

its handy so long as your in early avoiding the q but the beers pish !!

at £2.40 a pint it certainly aint value for money, but like a said its handy.

im sure its just recently had a paint job tho

Totally agree with you! I sit in the bar upstairs and there is never the same bar staff two weeks in a row... you are privalliged if you get a barman/woman that can speak english..... they dont even know what a lager shandy is i have to tell them.... beleive me i could go on!!!!

tried it for a wee while and when you could get in had to stand as the tables and chairs were badly positioned and people were keeping empty seats for friends who hadnt arrived yet at other ones .
now go to the Hibs club and even if it is full and standing you can get seated and served even if you have to go into the games room or up-stairs lounge and they do snacks at a reasonable rate best option is to join and enjoy facilities as members show their cards at barstaff and get a different rate from non-members
