Good luck John, keep the faith.
Why Johnny why, things were actually pretty good (things are pretty good). I've just watched the BBC interviews and both John, and Rod Petrie, look as devastated as I feel. You see, I like John Collins, I think Rod Petrie liked him too, he was very good for business, as a businessman (and as an alleged 'non-football' fan) he can approach such matters with a degree of objectivity. Which is all very well, but as a Hibernian fan, both man and boy it pains me, I actually hurt. I know I'm not alone. We went shopping tonight, at Asda's in Kirkcaldy, three fellow hibees that I'd seen around town but didn't know, stopped to basically express our disbelief. Whilst none of us are in a position to influence things greatly, it seems, I for one will now be going to Celtic Park, and Rugby Park, it is our duty. I will be at Easter Road, as a season ticket holder, as usual. We must hope that that the board appoint someone with stature, and some experience, John Hughes perhaps. I remember speaking to Yogi at Rugby Park just after Alex McLeish left, the time wasn't right then, I think it is now. He would surely have the passion, pride and realism that is required to manage Hibernian football Club. Good luck John, keep the Faith.
