Jones is no captain for me

Alright fair enough I agree it looks like we,ve missed him the last couple of games..
But for me he doesn't look interested,particularly when we are getting beat I dont see him organising or spurring on the team he,s never vocal and I think lacks passion for Hibs. If indeed he was any part of the mutiny last season on the manager then he should'nt be captain or even at the club.. He wins high balls but apart from that i think he,s clumsy and makes too many mistakes..I,ll not be sorry if he disappears back to the lower leagues of ENG

Yo dude do you have anything positive AT ALL to say about Hibs? Looking at your 18 posts so far, it's all a bit depressing isn't it?

I'll presume therefore that you're not from the Australian Perth, as surely all that sun would cheer you up a bit

I dunno if you noticed but we're in 4th, we just won a cup and we've got a future of no debt with top-class facilities. We're having a bad patch of form the now, but overall the future is pretty bright

Yes Rob Jones can maybe be frustrating on occasion and I do kinda know where you are coming from, however, the guy is our captain and he is important to the team. Lets get behind all of the players, as support will help them to play well far more than knocking them will. And we can surely agree thats what we all want? For Hibs to play well?

FWIW I've knocked Brian Kerr a couple of times in the past wee while but he's the exception to the rule ok, rip into him if you like

Just kidding, I am no longer a BK knocker until I give him a full and proper review this coming Saturday.... A player can always make it up to the fans with a gutsy display of 'gimme the ball' so I await with baited breath this weekend...

Rob Jones is a hugely important player for Hibs, the last two games have shown that we dont have decent cover in that department, although McCormack looks to be a real prospect.

As for him being captain, I agree that he doesn't seem to rally the troops and get them going when things are against us. Boozy always did a better job of that. Jones seems to have more criticism of the players around him than encouragement. Do you remember before the Gretna game when he went boxing with Zemmama, when Zemmama single handedly won the game and it was announced that the wee man had got man of the match, Jones was on the bench and his head was in his hands.

Granted he may not seem to do much shouting and bawling at players but he talks with his presence on the field IMO and he does gesture and i've seen him gesturing and talking to Maka on a few occasions
