Brian Kerr has taken plenty of stick for yesterdays performance and deservedly so but what about Benji? Threw his arms up in the air every time a pass wasn't inchf*cking perfect - that was even more annoying than the performance. Benji seems intent on beig brilliant one week and shit the next going back the (few) games he played at the start of the season.

Think he has a right to be pissed off he comes on last week and changes the game next week he is back on the bench

I don't think Benji is a 90 minute player, even when he is fully match fit.

I think he has great talent but for me he is an impact player in the way Ivan Sproule was in his first season with us. He has a tendancy to throw a strop when things aren't going well such as yesterday instead of busting a gut for the team to get us back into the game. As I say, no disputing the guy has real ability I just sometimes feel he is too much of an individual player rather than a team player.

I dont know what all the benji fuss is about. JC thinks hes a genius of some sort... if he spent more time chasing the ball than he does falling over himself and crying about it we might actually have a not-so-overrated prima donna we could depend on sitting on the bench. Even if we did buy Colin Pish in january you can bet your house he'd put more effort into his game than benji does.

Benji is a strange player when he plays well he can be the best on the park but then sometimes he can be the worst on the park like at the scottish cup game with dunfermlin last season he was moaning bout the pitch and kicking the turf even though a month before that he scored two goals in the snow on the same pitch!

When fit and if his attitude is right I'd start him every week don't think he's fit enough at the moment to start though.

Quite possibly the most talented individual we've had at Easter Road for years. He isn't 100% fit at the moment, and I think when he is he SHOULD be a stick on for a starting spot.

give time to Benji, am sure he would be the best player soon, he s good in face to face balls with the defenders, remember his last goal. also his goal in CIS cup final.

Thats what makes it all the more frustrating when he has his strops like Sunday (and the Gretna 4-2 game) yet the week before when he came on at the Pink Palace he was outstanding.
