I agree. Collins does not have the experience at the top level yet. In a few years once he has some Champions League success with Hibs.....

John wont take the Job as I think he needs a few more years learning his trade. Mr Collins , I assume, for such a cultured and intelligent individual has already got his ideal career mapped out. I would assume it would be someting like -
Hibs - 4/5 years, taking us to Europe regularly and keeping up the supply line of talented young players , then English Championchip (Big team) /French 1st Div - 3 years with a larger player budget and more Europe wide visibility. then, English Premiership/G14 club - 10+ years , CL games et al. then, National team coach in his late 50's. then pipe and slippers and a huge contented grin.
