Re: Alan Maybury

Why is it with been linked with two possible left backs in the space of a week. This 'no need to sell' is becoming all to familiar now. On Maybury I have to say I wouldnt mind if we had him on board. Always seemed to put in a solid challenge.

On Murray I would take him back as well I think. Could do with his running power in midfield I think.

I'd too take him but Hibsmad links us with a hell of a lot of players...

Correct and we have not always been correct.

My source is a guy i was at school with, who now works for BBC Scotland, who has given us some good stuff in the past, he was spot on with Alan O'Brien and Torben Joneleit in the summer.

He was also spot on with our trial for the Moroccan guy Youssef Chippo, even if he didn't turn up.

He isn't always correct, but he has been a few times.

Also, if Hibs are linked with a player in the press, we normally post it on our front page, as i'd say it's relevant Hibs news.

Re: Alan Maybury

If it was an option between Murray and Maybury I'd go with Ian purely for versatility reasons. It's something we lack in the squad minus one or two players.

Re: Alan Maybury

Maybury is a right back.

Would seriously doubt that he is on 10k a week but if he has been since moving to leicester in Jan 05 he is maybe in a position to accept lower wages at the age of 29 in return for SPL football and the chance to return to edinburgh where his bird/wife is from.

Re: Alan Maybury

Maybury played most of his games for Hearts at left back.

I would take him. I don't see Murph staying beyond summer so getting a left back in in January is probably a smart move.
