Hibernian Hall Of Fame - Right Back - Vote Now!

It's appearing that Andy Goram has secured the Goalkeeping position.

Who though for Right Back?

From the debate yesterday it appears the favourite is John Brownlie and based on video & witness evidence gets my vote (Can Aulder Bouncers explain the 'Onion'?).

Strong competition though from the 50's legend Jock Govan & recent favourite Willie Miller (Billy 'Bingham' apparently..).

Who gets your vote?

Re: Hibernian Hall Of Fame - Right Back - Vote Now!

Wasn't Alan Sneddon a left back?????? I remeber him scoring a couple of toppers in a league cup game against Alloa from the left.

Has to be John Brownlie. Willie Miller ? Are you havin' a laff ?!! Slim pickings since Brownlie's days right enough. How about Calum Milne ? Was he not right back for a spell ?

Jesus Saves But Brownlie Nets The Rebound (as I remember seeing on a badge many moons ago)
No contest for me - as for "Onion", I thought it referred to his haircut?

GforGallo will become famous soon enough
Re: Hibernian Hall Of Fame - Right Back - Vote Now!

what formation is this team gonna take out of interest? because going 442 is going to deny some of the true hibs legends a start. i mean only 4 of the famous 5 can fit into a 442 (based on 2 wingers and 2 cfs)and even thats not quite right) but then where does baker go???

as much as i think this is a good idea its a bit flawed...

oh and willie miller

Turnbull & Ormond could probably be considered midfielders but your point is right in general...

But how many of us saw the Famous Five play? Isn't this supposed to be based on players we've actually watched in action?

Not imo. Cause I'm just no voting for Steven Whittaker ahead of John Brownlie, and as much as I loved Mickey Weir he's no getting into the Bounce Hibs hall of fame at the expense of Gordon Smith...
