ROSSCO1875 is on the way to a first team debut
Brian Kerr

IMO he is got to start performing alot better. I rate him as a player and i think he is a decent box to box midfielder but in recent weeks i have not been happy with his passing, his tackling and goin on yesterdays evidence his finishing

He does try, but he is one of the established players in the squad and needs to do better... opinions?

Laughlan is on the way to a first team debut
Re: Brian Kerr

The guy woldnt get into my hibs team.

Id rather have a midfield 4 of

Boozy
Stevenson
Zemma
Lynch

With Boozy providing the figher and zemma and stevenson on the side wth lynch sitting in the middle.

Trying is one word I would use for Kerr but not in a good way. Yesterday he hid when he should have been showing an example to Stevenson and Chisholm as he is a senior pro compared to them, but he never tracked or marked anyone, he is yards off the pace of a game and cant honestly say I recall him winning a tackle in the midfield and to put it politely his distribution of a ball is pish.

He may have scored the winner at tyncastle which endeared him to Hibs fans for a short while but that is in the past and quite frankly his honeymoon period is over and IMO he is as good as a man absent sometimes.

I will also go back to the CIS cup defeat against Motherwell, obviously his old club, and if that had been me I would have been busting a gut against them but once more he ambled about the pitch showing no desire or hunger to get stuck in, win the ball and stick 2 fingers up at the well fans that were giving him stick.

He does not contribute anything to the team. If I were the likes of Sean Lynch or Dean Shiels I would be knocking on JCs door and asking what they have to do to get a shot in the team when Kerr does almost hee haw.

Id rather have someone in the midfield that is a tryer and gives 100% even if it doesnt always happen when they make a pass etc than someone like Kerr who was an utter liability yesterday.
