St Mirren Game

Predictions for tommorow's game? I think 3 nil, reckon big antoine-curier will bag himself a goal, so will donaldson, Jones may get his first of the season as well.

Team:

Ma Kalambay

McCann
Murphy
Hogg
Jones

Zemmama
Kerr
Chisholm
Shiels

Fletcher
Antoine-Curier

Sub's

McNeil
Gatheussi
McCormack
Stevenson
O'Brien
Donaldson
Campbell

A hard game with StMirren doing their utmost to frustrate the Hibbies, hopefully we'll have enough guile to win 2-0. Any win will do.

Makalamby

Gatheussi
Hogg
Jones
Murphy

Kerr
Chisolm
McCann
O'Brian
McCormack

A 4-5-1 to start with, until the crowd start getting on the players back. Then at half time -

Makalamby

Gatheussi
Hogg
Jones
Murphy

Zemmama
Kerr
Chisolm
McCann

Donaldson
Courier

To change from a 0-0 at half time to 3-0 full time.

Re: St Mirren Game

IMO the team will be :
Makalamby

McCann Hogg Jones Murphy

Zemmma Chisholm Kerr

Donaldson Curier O'Brien

My fear is that this game is shaping up to be a bit like the infamous "Freeland" Falkirk game of last season with St Mirren setting out their stall to frustrate Hibs and stifle the play whatever way they can. Expect strong arm tactics to be used as well. Let's hope for a strong referee. We have key players out (Fletcher, Benji, Morais, and Beuzelin), and this will be a big ask of the players that come in. We really have to score early and bring them out a bit. We look a bit lightweight in midfield, and we really do not have another player who can do the job that Boozy does in the team. Possibly Lynch or Ayre may get a chance, but I would imagine that JC will want to stretch the St Mirren defence with Donaldson and O'Briens pace being utilised. We really cannot afford to be dropping points to teams like St Mirren especially at Easter Road. I don't think we will drop points though.

Hibs to win 2-1.

Hibs to win 2-1.

Good post GM. I always worry about games at ER where a comfortable win is expected by all. A consequence of this is that if things are not going totally our way in the first 20 mins the crowd goes radge and it affects the players. It only takes a dodgy ref, a bad error, stupid tackle, etc to turn the game against us. Of course we can win but it might not be easy. Patience is required tomorrow.
