A week and two days early yes I know but just wondering what everybodys predictions are for the forthcoming Edinburgh derby?

On the strength of how we have been playing so far this season, I have to say I am 100% confident that Hibs will win by at least a 2 goal margin. I feel we are a much stronger team than Hearts are at the moment and I also feel we still have much more to give.

As I´ve already mentioned in another thread here I´m a swede that lived i the east end (Abbeyhill) in 2006 and rarely missed a game at Easter Road. Me and a mate are going back next week, october 31, and will stay until november 6. Of course I have secured at pair of tickets for the game against the filth and I can´t tell you how much I´m looking forward to it.

Have to say there seems to be a little extra excitement about this Derby which is good. I think league positiion and the win over them already is building this game up.

After todays performance I can't help but fear the upcoming derby,the only thing that makes me feel slightly more confident about it is the fact that hearts are not playing that well at the moment and have recently been giving away a lot of goals.

I hate when we hibs fans all aprouch derbys feeling confident because when we do that we usually end up making a totall cock up of it.For example the last Easter Road derby after we won the cup and hearts had gotten gubbed 4-0 by Dundee United, we went there confident that we could put 3 or 4 past them and look what happened!

Hopefully the players will bounce back from today and be fully focused for next week!

we're going to seriously hammer them. JC wont accept 3 defeats in a row, and i have no doubt he'll fire the whole team up. Hearts are piss poor at the moment, and missing a couple of players, i think we'll win 3-0 comfortably.
