Buying tickets for Hibs games

Not living in Edinburgh it is unbelievably difficult to buy a ticket for games at ER and I don't understand it, maybe someone could explain.

I wanted a ticket for a particular seat Y74 in the east stand, because I have a ST Y73, but my daughter does not this year. All I could get from ticket master was a seat somewhere in that block 40
Online from Hibs I could only get a seat also in block 40. Now I have to either get someone to go to the ticket office or contact them direct to get this seat.

How is it that these systems cannot be brought into line? Surely if I can choose a particular seat when standing at the ticket office it must be possible to sort out a system where you can buy a ticket online from Hibs or through ticket master for a seat of your choice.

They want to avoid huge queues at ER for tickets but don't make it easy for fans to buy tickets. Last season the same fiasco with Hampden tickets where there was no guarantee of getting more than two tickets together unless you queued at ER for them.

Is it me or is it a simple thing to network some computers together to make buying tickets easy? I wouldn't think it is beyond some computer whizz to sort it out. Is it too much to ask?

Greencol Jnr bought a ST two seasons ago - I bought one last season, phoned the Club and wrote with his client details and seat number, asking if i could get the seat beside him - I got one 4 seats away. This season Greencol Snr did the same and got one about 9 seats away, yet none of the seats between us are reserved.

It all seems pretty simple to me but not to the Club for some reason.
