Do we need more signings?

Personally I'm not sure. Shiels can't even make the bench and scored ten goals last season
Jody Morris? Does he have it to put Kerr, Beuzelin or Stevenson out the side


Fletcher and Benji look really good as a pair. Will this alleged Odense guy, 'Christiansen' (or whoever) be good enough to break up that pair?. And what about Donaldson? We get in another striker and he might end up like Shiels. I'm thinking we should give the guys we have a chance and leave out signing more guys unless they have obvious pedigree like a Latapy or Sauzee.

Jody Morris is a pish signing for anyone if you ask me, lightweight spice boy that is probably knocking on 30 by now. However I would like to see Riordan back pending cuff round the ear and a pay cut!

We definately need more signings, two at least..

The Jody Morris thing is a load of Tom Kite, Hibs have never been interested in him.

We need a big centre-forward to lead the line properly, and who can play with his back to goal. Today was yet further evidence of this. Benji is far better coming in from the left and attacking the opposition defenders from there. I also still think the team lacks dig in midfield. Too many lightweights and players who want the ball to their feet, but are not willing to graft for it.

Greenmachine,the big centre forward may be here soon,I have done a bit of digging around the danish striker Kim Christensen,been on the OB forum,local papers etc,and the word is that he was in the uk finalising personal terms with a top scottish club or a 1 division english club.I found this link

Basically the reporter has asked him straight out if he was in the uk on friday negotiating a move to a scottish club,Kim C just smiled and said he couldnt comment, he has been told not to say anything.the newspaper strongly believe the player to be on his way to a top scottish club or english 1 division,in the article it also says that he has asked for a move.Could be true.

According to Sir Collins (on hibernian interactive), jody morris speculation is complete pish... he mentioned and wrote off an other name, not the Norwegian guy. He said he has a striker in training just now and hopes to seal the deal in the next few days, we may yet have a few new faces. The signing of players doesn't bother me (as long as they are good and there isn't too many that we do a hearts and have 55 players on our books) I just hope to high hell Murphy and Jones stay. I was at hibs v gretna and heard alot of people slagging benji and i do think benji had a poor game but a players have bad days and getting on back wont help (literally or metaphorically)...

I'd like to see another central defender come in to the squad. Other than that we look alright but really need Boozy to start passing as he should be. He has the talent of someone special but has rarely shown it of late.

I think that we need a really strong holding, ball winning mid fielder. Boozy should be doing that job but is so relaxed about things sometimes he's almost horizontal, then on other ocasions always wants to play the ball first time without taking a touch,looking up and taking the best option.

Thought McCann looked a bit lost in the central role yesterday. I really rate him and could well make a bigger impact at right back this year than Stevenson did on the left side of midfield last season. Just though he was a bit out of his depth yesterday. Like the look of Gatheussi but obviously there were communication breakdowns with him yesterday.

Definitely need a big strong striker who is able to play up-front on his own when the tactics call for it as Benji was a couple of yards off the pace and obviously didn't enjoy the role until Fletch came on.

We must also get Zemamma to fall out with Rob Jones at the start of every game, think he proved his point when he came on. I'm sure i saw Rob Jones's head in his hands when Zoomer got Man of the match !

That is not Boozy job. I would say he is a creative midfielder and actually suffers from not having a solid holding player beside him.

Boozy is frustrating to watch because while he is our most talented player it doen't always come off for him. He needs to learn to play a little more conservatively at times and not try and play the 'world cup baw' all the time.
