We have released one tae the first club that offered something despite the fact he didnae want tae go. Sorry buddy but I see no comparison between the two. Jones has proven to be a much more influential player on the park. Remember CIS final???

Im the same,Martis used to mis judge the ball 9/10 by putting his foot a yard over the top of the ball even when it was on the deck. To me he never looked comfy with the ball or in a tackle.

Only plus point I would give him on Jones would be in the air,Jones wins balls because of the size of him NOT because he is good in the air,Martis was never a problem for me in that department.

As I mentioned to you in whatever pub it was I met you in after the middlesborough game [I think], I thought we should have held on to Martis.

Martis and Hogg looked much more together than Jones / Martis or Jones / Hogg do/did. Everyone I say that to looks at me as if i'm on drugs, which tbf might not be a bad call, but I stand by that.

I firmly believe that in the long run Martis would have been the better bet.
