If we've managed to get this (and i believe there are sell on clauses) then its a good deal in the end

Re: Undisclosed......

Ive never really understood why clubs make fees undisclosed.
Are Hibs trying to hide how much they brought in for the player? Do Bristol C want to keep the fee they just splashed out on hidden? Are Hibs looking to keep the extra funds they have secret from potential clubs they might be negotiating with?

So many questions.

500k sounds a good deal. If true. If.

I don't believe we got that for Ivan. Don't get me wrong, i think he'd
be worth every penny of it but if we had received this amount then
the Club would be telling everyone, just to remind us how great a
businessman the 'tache is

That would be fantastic money for Ivan in my opinion. Hopefully O'Brien will quickly replace him in hero status

Daily Mail said the other day £350k plus add ons up to £150k.

Good business but cheers Ivan for great memories and good luck to you.

500k would be fantastic money for Ivan. He did very well for us, and was a tremendous asset, but he may not even be missed too badly, if O'Brien turns out to be as good as we all hope he does.

Hopefully if Ivan can improve on things in his game (left foot, 1st touch, final ball...), he'll make himself a lock for his national team, as he certainly worked hard for it while he was here.

One huge difference however is the expectations of AOB will be pretty huge whereas there was little or no expectation with Ivan..... Sproule had little or no pedigree coming from Institute, if the deal went sour there wouldn't have been much lost £5,000 signing fee and fairly low wages i'd assume, AOB i imagine will already be one of the bigger wage earners and is going to cost £150-250K according to reports, he's coming from the Prem and already an International - let's hope he can do a great job.

Heres to hopefully a very happy season!!
