Not too bothered TBH. From what i've seen and heard of O'Brien he sounds more than able to replace him. Still would rather he had stayed though. Good luck Ivan.

Wasn't in Collins' plans. Sproule will want to play every week, and Hibs can't give him that - Zemmama, Shiels, Stevenson, and now O' Brien now in contention as well. It was the best move for both sides, although, ideally i would have liked a more than the 250,000 than the amount thats been banded about.

In fact, if we start playing 3 at the back like the last few games suggested, then Murphy and Whittaker can be added into that equation.

Suppose it was to be expected but still sorry to see him go. Calling him names is out of order by the way. Sproule gave his all for the club, produced some great performances, and did everything by the book as far as I can see. Probably one of the most likeable personalities at Hibs in the last ten years. Best dancer too.

Forgot to add just one little criticism.

"This is a big step up for me." Suppose he has to be seen saying the right things but I'm far from concinced that Bristol C. is a big step up from Hibs.

Kinda puts the pressure on O'Brien a bit to perform. He has to step into the shoes of a fans' favourite.

whats the bets he couldve had another 4-8 gamesout over the course of the season.

In what way is it bad news? He cost us 5k, probably cost us a few wins too with his red cards, a few goals with his greed, and over running of the ball.

IMHO, this is no great loss, Ivan was a good player on his day but far too inconsistent and too quick tempered.

Opponents never knew what he was going to do/try next...................however, nor did we!

That last 20 minutes of unpredictability, will be a loss.
