A couple of weeks ago, it was all doom and gloom on this website about the mighty Hibernian. Magic what a couple of signings can do eh! JC said all along that as soon as he had something concrete to tell us he would, and he has stuck to that, and he is also using his French connections, as called for by people on this site too. I know that alot of fans were and still are frustrated by the amount of players leaving, or being linked with a move away from E.R, but surely it is the club we support, not the individual's? I am 100% convinced of JC's and TC's abilities to lead into the new season and be successful, and I am also 100% convinced, that despite his apparent tight fisted approach, RP is the best man to lead our club into a sound financial future, something that we do need, no matter how frustrating it can sometimes be. C'mon the cabbage!

Damn straight, front page of the official site has the four new signings albeit one is on loan for a year from monaco but we cant have it all. A few more to bolster the squad and we'll be cruising. Relief

I think what's so promising is that the players that are signing will have been told first hand by JC and the training staff exactly what to expect of the regime in regards to his methods, which means these players want to work hard and be professional. That is what excites me.

It's a good sign that we're getting players from clubs of the stature of Newcastle and Monaco, albeit fringe players. Can you imagine what the reaction would have been on the Bounce that summer about 10-12 years ago when I think we only signed Welsh from DU and Cameron from Partick?
