As the title said in the paper today that Bristol city are prepared to fork out more than £250.000 for Ivan.

I dont want to see Ivan leave however he may fancy a shot at the championship down south.

I agree I dont think he would go for £250,000 however i'm not sure Ivan would not want to go to the championship, it is a good competitive league with decent sides.

I know its just paper talk but i dont want Hibs to sell anyone until we get some players in.We have been told we dont need to sell and targets are in position..aye awright

It seems we all talk about how much so'n'so is worth,well TBH i would rather read/hear about players that will maybe excite us,in fact just get us a keeper which we have been crying out for since last season.

I agree Smurf i dont expect him to go for £250,000 it just said in the paper the Bristols are prepared to pay more than this amount.

That doesnt really give us any indication of whats in the mousers mind. What would be the point in selling Ivan now that we have a striker coming in [Clayton D] who is allegedly as fast as him. When Ivan gets the ball most of the time he has to cut back because no **** b=can keep up with him but now we can maybe reap the rewards of his blistering pace as it will be complimented by an equally quick striker in the box.

Hopefully anyway.

sometimes I think he is too fast for his own good but [hopefully] my point stands. If CD can match him for pace it would at least give Ivan a chance to cross the ball to someone rather than trying to beat those 47 defenders of which you type he could perhaps just beat 20 odd of them and then cross the ball.
