Dnipro Appeal May Update
The Dnipro Appeal recently organised for funds to be sent to Ukraine to assist the Bear Child Crisis Pregnancy Centre in Dnipropetrovsk.
Here is an email, and photos, we have just received from Pam Nelson who runs the Bear Child Crisis Pregnancy Centre. "Dear Hibernian Fans, Thank you for your continued support of Bear Child and the Crisis Pregnancy Center of Dnepropetrovsk, Ukraine. We are forever grateful for your immediate response to our urgent needs. We are waiting for the twin boys to have their surgeries scheduled. We will keep you updated as we have that information. Your diaper and baby food donation are essential items for our many clients. We were able to stock up a bit on both and just in time. Please, know that your continued support enables us to reach out to those who have real needs. We are truly grateful and thankful for all that you do for us and for those we serve in Ukraine. I have attached a photo of me with the baby items we were able to purchase and also a photo of one of the mothers, Ulia, with her baby wearing one of the diapers. How about a Hibeesbounce/DniproKids combined t shirt sale with profits shared between the website and the Dnipro Fund? I'm sure one of our members (Kenny) could produce the goods and surely many Bounce members would buy one? |
