Kenny , perhaps a group of our more learned Bouncers should approach Hibs with our concerns ?
If we lose Brown , Murphy and say Whittaker and bank the money without recruiting reasonable replacements then the club are taking this piss regardless of any academy .
Hibs fans have backed the club in great numbers recently and deserve a bit of respect for it , we're not getting it at the moment

For the first time under Petries reign I am now starting to feel that we are not getting back what we are putting in off the field. Most off us invest our hard earned cash into the club and we are limited now to getting Bosmans and conference players even though the clubs bank balance has never been healthier and we have less debt (If you can properly call it debt after the sale of Brown) than any other clubs in the SPL.

This is total pish. We aren't going to make a move for that Linfield striker because he costs £250k. Thats embarassing. How on earth can we maintain top level finishes if we cant afford that much, especially after recieving £4.5million.

What does Petrie expect to happen? That a replacement for Brown will just miraculously appear from thin air??? Doesn't he realise that the team will be significantly worse without Brown???

Maybe he just doesnt give a shit, but if he doesn't get it sorted then attendances will drop and so will Hibs' Bank balance as a result, so surely Petrie must see sense and release at least £500k???
