Karipidas (sp?)

How on earth did this guy manage to stay on the park? his tackle on Murphy just outside the box was shocking and at the time he was all ready on a card,If that had been a hibs player he would have been right off without a doubt!

Typical Lithuanian jambo!

Totally agree mate, if that was Dean Shiels or Scott Brown, we would have been down to ten without Dougal taking a second thought, he browned his pants and thought, one more challenege and then you'll be of. SO inconsistant its appauling.

There is a simple answer to this question. He is a Hearts player. If he was a Hibs player he was off. How was that tackle any better than McCanns? Or the tackle when he got booked in the first place? I have a feeling he might be Alan Freelands sex friend and he's taking revenge for his incompetent friend being demoted to refereeing amateur football. Stuart Dougal, bigot toss pot.

recently joined from being a hibs.net regular.

and that is one think i constantly get sick of hearing.... it's pitiful, i. like every other football fan could see that was most definitely a yellow card which would have resulted in a sending off, the ref chose not to give it. although he was a clown, it was his decision and he chose the wrong option, the fact he was hearts is completely irrelevant, i don't know if you realized but the majority of the cards we've received this season we've had only ourselves to blame.

Re: Karipidas (sp?)

Dougal reached for his back pocket as he ran towards the foul but on noticing who the player involved was he chose not to produce his cards, poor decision but all you'd expect

Re: Karipidas (sp?)

Went through the agony of watching it again yesterday. The commentary team describe Dougal as bottling it ( not exact words). No disagreement that we have deserved the cards we got this season. Its the inconsistency; Hibs getbooked for celebrating ( Killen) , kicking the ball away ( Sproule) etc. But our opponents often get away with the same, remember the Rangers players almost in their support celebrating on 2 visits to ER? How did Fyssas not get booked for time wasting with his goodbyes on Saturday?

Todays Scotsman : Fyssas's attempt to say goodbye personally to every team-mate before leaving the pitch on his last home appearance for the club. "I needed to do this - it was a difficult moment for us at that time of the game so I took the opportunity to delay play," the Greek defender said.
