The Times says he's on his way to Aberdeen, though it seems a deal is not yet signed. If Aberdeen can afford him, so can we. He is just the kind of model professional JC needs to set an example to the youngsters. What do you think?

I agree, Edinburgh has been full of rhumours about jmc comming to hibs.Surely living in the capital playing for hibs is is more desireable than living and playing with the mutton molesters.
p.s same article said m stewart could be on his way north as well.

How not? They're in the papers saying they can't afford a £70,000 transfer fee and were looking at recieveing around £8m in transfer fees this summer.

I'd reckon 4-5 years in recent times and this was also kicking about 10-11 years ago in his Dunfermline days.

What's changed is that his family did not settle in England and are back in Scotland. So he needs a club up here and is accepting this will mean a substantial wage cut.
Hence the Aberdeen interest.

Spot on. Jackie the elder told me a couple of weeks back that JC doesnae want him. A pity in my opinion.

This could be a real signing for us.A vastly experienced player champions league exp,International. We could really do with someone like him in our squad next season.

The only thing that could scupper this deal is the money side of it.RP runs a very tight ship here and i cant see Jackie taking 1-2 grand a week to play four us.what do my fellow bouncers think?????
