Rumours circulating Hibs have made an offer for 20 year old Dundee left-back and utility winger Paul Dixon. He's 20 years old, apparently was previously in negotiations with the club during Mowbray's last months, but had offers from down south. They have fallen through and (purportedly) Hibs are in later stages of negotiation. He's started 72 matches for Dundee over 2 seasons, plus 4 substitute appearances.

I'm thinking this may signal Glass and Murphy's departure - after all we have Stevenson too.

£100,000 for a left back who plays for a mid-table 1st division team and hes only 20 he must be good.

Ive wathced him quite alot he is a good player with loads of potential but dont think he is anywhere near david murphy standards. definetly worth a look i think, cant see us spending £100,00 on him

Canny see us paying £100k for anybody far less a 1st div left back! However let's wait and see how this all pans out as we seem to be linked with all and sundry at the moment.

Ive seen this Dixon guy play a couple of times this year, looks quite a prospect.

Not on a par with Murphy or Stevenson, but maybe in time I suppose.

Maybe worth 100,000 because that could be a steal if he keeps progressing.

Yet another young player rumoured to be coming to easter road.......dunno if this is good or bad news.With the way the squads going to look after the end of season exodus i really see no advantage in signing another young player.

What we need is some experienced pro's to pass on something to the excellent crop of youngsters coming thru at the club.

Anyone have any suggestions about some experienced players we could maybe lure to easter road in the summer?????
