it worked a treat

Boozy was outstanding, best performance of the year from him and it allowed whittaker and stevenson to push up the flanks. Both of whom were again excellent. Also meant we weren't relying on our usual centre backs to distribute from the back.

Thought whitty looked as if he was a lot more relaxed and this allowed him to unleash the patter and he fully deserved his goal.

Wee Chis was v. good, excellent distribution and busied about the hun midfield all afternoon.

If we could secure a forward in the killen mould to lay off to the runners I think its all looking good.

Good to see deano on from the start too and he played well. Benji...if only you'd taken that chance..

Anyway feeling a lot better now after tuesday.

Chisholm also took it upon himself to organise the team, tactically and positionally, talked with the bench, essentially took on the 'pivot and communicator' role that a holding midfielder would. He didn't do anything outstanding personally, but I feel if say Lynch had been playing there instead we'd have lacked a lot of organisation and shape. Beuzelin was also outstanding as sweeper/anchorman, but I don't see us adopting that kind of formation very much in future, new offside rule makes sweepers pretty outdated anyway. Good game from Fletcher I thought as well TBH.
