Dnipro Appeal - Circus Trip
Last Saturday the Dnipro Appeal was able to give the kids at the Odinkovka orphanage a special treat thanks to the continued support of all those that have sponsored a child.
The kids were all picked up at the orphanage and taken to the circus. Some of you that visited Dnipropetrovsk may remember the big round building next to the main hotel by the riverside, to the right of the picture below.  Upon arrival at the circus they were all given a gift pack that contained some sweets, juice and a soft toy (kindly donated by the Disney Corporation).  The word back from our helper, Ira, is that the kids had a fantastic time there and that the orphanage has had a buzz about it since the kids arrived back from their trip.

For some reason I can't see the pic, but I think I recall it vaguely. It had all these wee cheap vodka shops/stands just down from it that I purchased some (ahem!) souvenirs from. Grand to hear that the good work continues. Just think......... had we not crashed to the Pars, maybe another Dnipro would have benefited from the fans generosity.
