OK, allow me to be the kneejerker

Hibs 2 - 2 Celtic
Hibs 5 - 1 St Mirren
Hibs 4 - 1 Aberdeen
Hibs 5 - 1 Kilmarnock

Four games off the top of my head that have seen us really play the type of football we were used too since Collins took over.

St Mirren 1 - 1 Hibs
Dunfermline 1 - 0 Hibs
Dunfermline 0 - 0 Hibs
Dunfermline 1 - 0 Hibs
Hibernian 0 - 1 Hearts
Inverness 3 - 0 Hibs
Falkirk 2 - 1 Hibs

All of which we were beyond fucking garbage, with most/all our first team playing.

I'm starting to wonder whether the CIS has badly disguised a fine football team slowly falling apart, Collins decisions tonight were insane, Gray in ahead of Fletcher? Zemmama not in squad? And the decision to take of Boozy (who had been having one of his better games) for Chisolm was inexcusable and cruel on a youngster who looked badly out his depth tonight. If he felt Boozy had been that honking why not McCann at right back and push Whittaker up?

I'm not wanting sackings or anything and this has nothing to do with recent ongoings that the press hyped up to the max, but. Let's face it, if we had lost that final against Killie alot more questions would be getting asked about where this team has been going recently.

Re: OK, allow me to be the kneejerker

Im not sure, although what I would say is that the performances have been gradually getting worse. Although IMO we play good football at times but we just seem to try and walk the ball in the net. We dont have someone who can crack a ball from 25 yards and score, we dont have players who can turn it on on a regular basis which is a problem. The first two or so months (coinciding with Killen getting injured funnily enough) I thought we were BETTER than with Mowbray. It looked like there was an added grit bar the 3-0 defeats to Rangers and ICT. Best we've played in the last few years IMO was against Motherwell away when we beat them 1-6 which was under Collins.

But recently, we've not been up to much. But thats probably also cause the players arent too happy.

ok hands up, forgot about Motherwell, and we always seem to turn shite after Xmas, granted.

Fuck it, I'll go away, roll a joint, come back and read my imminent abuse for this post, go to bed, get up and avoid papers for a few days then start all over again.

It's fucking magic supporting this club

Re: OK, allow me to be the kneejerker

Its called being a Hibby, if we wanted to support a team who was always succesfull and didnt have ups and downs we wouldnt be supporting HIbs would we? But I'm glad I support this club and we cant win everything. GGTH lets pick ourselves up and move on, starting with the teddy bears on saturday!!

Re: OK, allow me to be the kneejerker

I totally agree with the point made about McCann should have came on for Whitty to push up to take Boozy of. But then again we dont go paid to make these decisions. Was puzzled not to see Zemmama on the bench, il take an educated guess that he wasnt there for footballing reasons though.

GEOFFTRUE HIBBY is on the way to a first team debut
Thinking Re: OK, allow me to be the kneejerker

Enjoying some highs ,still doesn't compensate the lows we suffer as we follow this mighty football club,Yet another miserable low point, but we WILL be back.Of that I am sure, though I think tonights defeat signals the end of this particular team.If we include Killen then I think at least 5 first team regulars will be away before the start of next season and we will then see the true birth of the team that JC built.Onwards and upwards.
