Mass Clearout Req!!!!

Some players - not just tonight but in games well before the CIS Cup are not good enough for 1st team.

McNeil - played well tonight but needs more as shown in some recent games including Scotland. Need someone for him to learn from - not Marshall

Whitty - Needs better coaching - which Hibs wont be able to provide to improve his game. Think McCann can be far better within months

Boozy - Clown - only plays if he can be bothered - No doubting his ability but doesnt apply himself enough.

Hogg - Holy Fuck - this has gone on too long - Cant pass when he has possesion. Goals come from mistaked and loss of possesion - he loses the ball when in possesion more than 70% of the time - Even 10 yard passes - Not acceptable.
Then the decision to tackle Hammill in the box when no real threat as rest of defence had him covered.

Gray - cant be faulted even though poster say he shouldnt have started - If we still had Brewster, Oconnor or riordan - can you imagine the goals he would have scored in 3-5 years.

Fletcher - Doesnt cut it - Has the ability but doesnt apply it enough. If he plays up front we need more goals or its not worth it - Killen is a great example when fit.

Zemmama - Lovely tricks to watch but does he provide enought - Luxury we cant afford.

Benji - He could score barrowloads on either foot. - Seems to lack confidence as shown when snatchiing at the ball when striking.

Jones - Not so much as needs cleared but why does he get dragged so far out of postition. CH- Stay central - dont follow the ba' around the park.

Martis - Not good enough. End of.

Sproule - Given us so much at times but must be one of the mostfrustrating players to watch at easter road. How many time does he look to have the beating of Def only to stand on the ball or inadvertadley lose it. - Great assist and scoring record though.

I was going to read this but I felt I could use the few minutes doing something more productive and worthwhile like smacking my head off a wall.

Agree on Boozy. He really hasnt turned it on..well...at all the last few months. Needs a spell out of the team to maybe kick him on. Gray shoudnt have started such an important game against two big strong defenders. Jones was good tonight on the whole I thought we definitely need him. Hogg blows hot and cold, but so does martis, its a 50/50 with both of them! Sproule is THE most frustrating player i've ever watched. Benji undoubtably has the potential to be cracking but has low confidence at the moment, something that JC should be working on rebuilding with him. McNeil isn't big enough although he clearly has attributes. Whittaker was good tonight and I would strive to keep him and Murphy.

Zemamma is a luxury that we should be able to afford if we had a decent solid midfielder in beside him, which we dont! Our strongest team IMO is:

McNeil, Whittaker, Jones, Martis, Murphy, Brown, Zemamma, Shiels, Stevenson, Fletcher, Benji. Although there is no grit in the midfield in the team I like, is there anyway with Boozy?

I feel it wont so much be a clear out of some of the players wanting to leave due to Hibs telling them. I'm more worried that players will leave as they probably think that this is the furthest we can go as a club. By tonights performance, its kind of sad to think that we couldnt even manage to get to a final, when a few players look certain to leave. Ie the last time Scotty playing for us in the Scottish Cup.

have you been smokin something.........mass clearout!!!!I would hardly say its worth emptyin the whole squad who were being talked up as the best football playing side in the country earlier this season.

not to mention this squad won us our first silverware in 16 years.

I dont get why so many people on here seem to think we deserve to be up there every year, we have never been that spoiled with success,certainly not in my time as a hibby anyway.

As i have already said on another thread if you offered me a trophy and top 6 at the start of the season i would have happily accepted it>
