COLLINS TAKES FULL BLAME TONIGHT. Damon Gray up front? Beuzelin playing virtually the whole game? Shiels coming on so late? Zemmama, Campbell, Lynch not even on the bench? I suspect Collins thought we'd walk it 2-0 or 3-1 and he'd play some youngsters again to get a bit of credit and some more coverage on our 'fabulous young talent'. If we'd played the best possible team I could understand us going out, but we didn't, and we haven't even applied for the InterToto.

Gray - sure, agreed, i wouldve started with fletch.

However, ht sub of fletch for gray and it was the CIS cup winning starting 11. No one complained then did they?

Also, did hogg actually make contact at the pen????? never seen any on the replays

OK i take on board some of line-up issues, still it was the wrong team and DEFINETLY the wrong substitutions. Collins on radio "Damon Gray? Well it's just a great experience for the lad, to play at the National Stadium, he enjoyed the experience". I'd have preferred if he hadn't said that 10 minutes after we were KO.

Hogg is shite - not just for the pen but some of his decisions be it passing or closing down - he needs more coaching - problem is we dont have a replacement.

true, diff was hammil had skinned him with his nutmeg on fletch, hogg was wrong side, hammil was moving into a v dangerous pos, if he didnt make the tackle and the cut back resulted in a goal, we wouldve balmed Hogg.

I'd rather take my chances with the cutback cos at least there was a chance of bad ball/defender clearing/terrible miss/great point blank save.

Pish - Why was Hogg in the position. Cause he's not good enough at the moment - has potential but not cutting it at the moment.

The cut back could have resulted in a goal - if hogg was in correct postion instead of dragging himself out - wouldbe ok.

How many times did our cutbacks not result in a goal - its a coin filp. Just like a pen decision - would it be a goal. WE'll never know.

EDIT -- Just looked again - NO DANGER WOULD THAT WEED HAMILL HAVE PICKED OUT A PASS TO SCORE - LOOK AT THE POSTIONING OF THE REST OF DEF.

Boozy needs the boot out the first 11 now. He hasnt performed for months. Collins must take some blame, because chisolm coming on, and gray starting was baffling.

HE SHOULD HAVE KEPT SPROULE ON AND PUT DEANO ON IN PLACE OF BOOZY. Deano is good enough to play in the midfield and then he could be utilised as a third attacker as well.
