I'm not a ST but I'll be there tonight even though I couldn't get a ticket for the last two derbies, even though I hadn't missed a derby in over 10 years prior to that

the sooner a loyalty scheme come in the better.

I asked about getting an ST and selling some tickets back to the club (I can only get to about 12 to 14 home games a season) but they wern't interested...remember that ST are supposed to be non-transferable!!!

Well mate the club are talking out their arse here.They have been quite happy to take season tickets off people who can't make it in order to sell them off for games.They wont take them back in bulk though.

I would love to be there tonight however i'm not able due to work and family and financial constraints, I was there last sunday and would be pretty gutted if I missed out on a ticket by not being able to make it tonight.

Not a chance. What if tonight is someones first match this season? Should they be rewarded ahead of someone who has been to most matches this season, but for whatever reason can't make tonight.

I'm sick of the I'm a better fan than you brigade because of what games you go to.

When I were a lad I went home and away every week, but as you get older other things, like wife and family come along which make it harder to get to games.

Just because I have to pick and choose when I go doesn't make me a bad supporter.
And yes I am going tonight

I dont think its a case of better fan but those who go tonight should be 2nd in line imo .

yes and no.

a proper loyalty scheme would sort that out. but possibly there should be more incentive to go tonight....not easy at full price 55miles, from ER midweek when the game is on the telly...

At the moment hibs only reward people who go to home games

home games only make up 50% of the clubs fixtures

If I go to all the away games (i do go to more aways than homes) I get no reward whatsoever - is that fair

No, it's not fair. At same time, It should be at the start of the season that a loyalty scheme is put in place. Not just for one match.

Right there is no guarrentee of that and bear in mind the reasons for many folk no goin the night is the fact that its a tuesday night,prices are steep and its in Glasgow.Do you think that folk who haven't been to a game all season are immune to these factors? Me thinks not.

Agreed but while it cost hibs money to set this up they're not going to do it.

online tix are awful

online ticket information is regularly out of date

telephone have always been good for me though I've heard many bad reports recently

is this a club set to launch a decent loyalty scheme - I doubt it - not in the next couple of years at least.

therefore to fight my corner I think this is a perfect opertunity for the club to recognise it's traveling support...

set a precidence and do it for every cup run...

Even though i am not going i will be honest enough to say that the fans going tonight should be rewarded in some way. Maybe not first entitlment on future games. Maybe a fiver of the new strip or something. Just another thought.

I do have an ST, but don't go to many away games. There are loads of Hibees that can't afford the cash up front for ST'S, but go to many Home and away games and in my opinion some have more right to Cup tickets than me.
The lads just over the border and across in Ireland spend a helluva lot more money and time getting to games than I do, but have real problems at times getting tickets.

And as for "the fan's that crawl out of the Woodwork for cup games" FFS these are people taking their families and mates that just want to see a good game of football in a carnival type atmosphere. I'm damn sure I would rather see people than empty seats.

As far as tonight goes, I originally said there was no way I was going, then couldn't help but get tickets for me and my Wife.
Would not want to miss it. We all have our reasons for going or not. What's most important to me is that if we get through, we fill our allocation in May and don't take the attitude that it's Sceptic" we've got no chance" Feck that, we've got EVERY CHANCE.

I believe season tickets should always get priority, i'l be there tonight and will be desperate to get a ticket for the final, if we happen to do the business tonight. Two tickets per season ticket would have been ideal for me in a selfish way, but the fairest way is 1 per season ticket, then a good old fashioned sleepover at Easter Rd in a six mile queue.
