Im not going as I dont have the money for both the semi and the final..You can say what you want but im willing to bet that most hibees will be saving up for the final as the semi is on the t.v.
Saving up for the Final???? £20 ticket and travel in 6 weeks? Don't agree at all. Most people will spend £50-£100 tonight or a night out before then.

Don't get me started on all the 'supporters' who crawl out the Woodwork for the big games.

Everybody's got a great excuse for not following their team to a Semi-Final replay at Hampden.

I'd be happier if people just told the truth and said I don't agree with a replay and I cannae be bothered goin all the way through there when it's live on the Telly!

There'll be a few who spend more in the boozer on Tuesday night than I will going to the game!
I cant be arsed going ,aswell as 8000 st holders and 1900 cis finalists as it stands at the minute.

Looking forward to this game after todays gritty performance. Mibbe there will still be a decent sized crowd going through once folk realise that its the semi-final of the Scottish Cup, its not been won for 105 years, and the fans at the ground can lift the team in a way that sitting in front of the tele cant.....

Re: Crowd for Tueday

Do you think more people would 'find the money' if the SFA threw Celtic out the tournament and announced that Tuesday night's game would be the final (as hypothetical as it all sounds)

There are more fans not going because they can't be arsed than those who genuinely cannot afford it.

Rights or wrongs of having it at Hampden, the amount of tickets that we have sold is an embarrassment. It will be another 'first' for Hibs - to have played in the first ever sub 10,000 supporters semi final (or replay).

If you were to start a thread on here asking what lengths people have gone to to watch Hibs I am sure some of the replies would make the 'skint' people hang their heads in shame. I don't know if the Proclaimers ever did Walk 60 miles to Kilmarnock, but that is the kind of spirit people should have. Get behind the team on Tuesday night as our support is needed if Hibernian Football Club are to stand any chance, of getting a chance, to win the all elusive Scottish Cup.

To all those who are swithering or not sure about going, please put your hand in your pocket, pay the ripoff cost of a ticket (sfa cundts) and get along and get behind the boys that delivered our first trophy in 16 years and are 2 wins away from the one that we haven't won in 105 years !

Incorrect. 1979 sub 10k v Aberdeen. Nearly everyone was in the Rangers end of Hampden and it was a brilliant atmosphere but a terrible crowd for all that.

Wednesday night IIRC

Whatever crowd we take through on Tuesday I'm sure we'll all get behind the team. You can't force people to go but personally speaking I'd hate to miss a semi final in the year we win the cup!!!!

Cant wait for tomorrow - it's going to be a crackin atmosphere - folk who all want to be there - not just out for a day on lash to fill seats on a bus or what ever.

how many did we take to ibrox for the sellick replay - mid 90's?

Re: Crowd for Tueday

making it 22 quid again is a fecking joke. I've still paid the money but for a game thats on the tele and will have a shite atmosphere and on a Tuesday night I wasnt happy. Especially when I'll still stand in a bloody 3 hour long cue for final tickets with a load of folk who didnt bother their arse to be there for the replay.

I agree - purely for selfish reasons.

ofcourse there are genuine cases, but there is a lot more "cant afford it" and "oh im working" when there is a little more effort involved,
