Hibees Bounce Player Of The Year 2007

The Hibees Bounce Player Of The Year 2007

Its that time again Bouncers. You must decide who has been Hibs best player of 2006-07 season.

The team has quality players in a number of positions and have produced some memorable performances, but who has been the stand-out?

Has the player who's caught your eye come from defence?

Agree, although it was a close one with me between him and Broony. Think Murph shades it through consistency while Brown seems to have games where he's annonymous

Re: Hibees Bounce Player Of The Year 2007

The player who has most impressed me this year is Chris Hogg,he has been really rock solid in the centre of defence since he took over from Shelton.

Re: Hibees Bounce Player Of The Year 2007

Tough choice this, if Killen had stayed fit, I reckon he would have won this poll by a mile, so you have to be sympathetic to his situation.Murphy has as usual, been reliable( unless he's playing against Chris Burke) and Scott Brown has been driving this team forward and is clearly the biggest talent at the club...if he could score on a regular basis he'd be the complete attacking midfielder.

I'll go for Scott.

Re: Hibees Bounce Player Of The Year 2007

Rob Jones for me.

Not the classiest Player on offer but a big man with a big will to win. I find it a bit difficult to vote in this poll not knowing exactly what's been going on behind the scenes as this would have a bearing on my vote.

I voted for Murphy last Season and don't feel he's performed as well this term, he's added a couple of goals to his repertoire and not been injured as frequently but I don't think he's been as consistently 'flawless' as last season, I saw a wee side of him at Dunfermline a fortnight ago which shocked me as well, could've easily been ordered off.

Scott Brown is great, we all see it but his discipline is still not the best and he gets the odd ban which affects the team.

Re: Hibees Bounce Player Of The Year 2007

I voted for David Murphy as he has been very consistant, and is probably the best left-back I have ever seen at Easter Road.

Rob Jones has had a tremendous season as well though. At last a proper centre-half at Hibs. he is a great leader on the park, and I love his will-to-win attitude. I think RJ may get the award next season, but it's Murphy for me for 06/07

Re: Hibees Bounce Player Of The Year 2007

I've gone against the flow and voted for Steven Whittaker. For my money, he is our most improved player this season and is turning into a right back to be proud of, despite many people having reservations about him in this position. He's no prima donna, he's athletic and he has a good disciplinary record. The fact that scouts from darn sarf are alledgedly watching him says how far he has come.

I'll go with that. Best season for Hibs so far IMO. Chris Hogg a close second.
