Killen given the weekend. But....

So the deadline was apparently not noon today but he has been told to mull over the offer and give an answer by the end of the weekend/ latest monday morning (which makes more sense to me anyway.)

So all hope isn't lost and he might still sign (Somehow I think its wishful thinking)

BUT if he doesn't sign. What happened to this....

Why would you say that and not keep your word?

There were rumours a while ago that Celtic were interested in him right enough, but I thought that had calmed after they signed mcdonald?

Re: Killen given the weekend. But....

I was thinking that, maybe they are thinking it could provide the necessary 'boost' to everyone if he signed a new deal right before the semi replay. Hopefully this isnt just wishful thinking!

Correct.

Fuck him like his cricket team got fucked today.

This is a man who is chasing money down south (or west) but he ain't getting any offers as he is just as injury-prone as the day we signed him.

He has had the last 3 months to re-sign, so cheerio cheerio cheerio.

In fact, he got injured at Pitroddrie so i will do a wee papa-shango voodoo dance to ensure that he continues to be punished for his greed.

I'd be disappointed if he didn't sign after all the club have done for HIM but wouldn't be surprised if he left. Anyway read he was at Colchester for a medical yesterday????

I'm not so sure!

He can score goals, a 'bigger' Club may indeed offer him something more than Hibs have put on the table.

why would they offer big wages to a player who is injured more than fit not sure but can anyone tell me how many months he has actually been fit at er during his contract? there is no getting away from it he is a good goal scorer but cant see anyone paying him "big wages" for half a seasons work

He's a professional footballer with a good goals to games ratio, any player can get injured, we've already established on this site it's his physical style that gets him the injuries.

I'm 100% sure he'll still be a pro footballer next season, most Clubs South of the Border will pay more than us, we bought the guy knowing he was injury prone so I'm sure another Club will do the same!
