Statement from Petrie ..or lack of!

Petrie has a few faults but generally IMHO he can normally be relied upon to say/do the right thing.He has been an excellent ambassador for the club for the last few years (again IMHO)
Despite various comments from the manager his assistant and the players I find the apparent silence from RP a wee bit disconcerting .
Surely at a time like this the board should have been unequivocal in their support of the manager .(normally they are prior to sacking them)
This might give some the impression that not everyone in the ER boardroom is supportive of JC!
Cmon Rodders where do you stand? The manager has the support of the fans and the Weedgie press know that.They and the fans need to hear it from you to put this matter to rest(till end of season anyway)

Perhaps saying anything would further fuel the flames on the "Collins can't talk for himself" fiasco.

Petrie doesn't run the Hibs team, Collins does.

If anything further needs to be said (and I don't think there does) it'll be Collins saying it, not Rodders.

But he is the senior figure of Hibernian Football Club the organisation which employs JC I for one would like some clarity re the "meeting". Did Petrie symapathise with the players or did he do as he should have and tell them to GTF .
It's not HOMFC . All we need is some clarity and confirmation as to who does run the team . As of yet Petrie has not said anything of that ilk
