HIBS fans today demanded that any Easter Road stars unhappy with boss John Collins be brave enough to show their faces.

Supporters have been stunned by this week's claims of a player revolt and reports of a meeting between a large group of them and chairman Rod Petrie at which their complaints were aired.

But today it all culminated in a claim that they had demanded Collins be sacked as the only way to resolve the issue, insisting their relationship with the manager had deteriorated beyond repair.

Petrie has no option but to back the manager. There are going to be a number of departures in the summer that is for sure.

Just to be contraire Ian, RIP could have taken a different stance, not backed the manager and carpetted him after litening to the players. For all we know, this may have happened, although I suspect not. Whilst I support the club in the way they have managed the situation, the irony is that the no headlines will appear based on what the club will say, as it will be managed (quite correctly) internally. Anyway, back to reality.

Yer darn tooting about the summer though - heads will roll as a result of this, and those cowards who played a leading role in upsetting the semi-final preparations will either be plying their trade elsewhere, or having a long time to contemplate their actions as they train with the reserves.
