Hibs in the grand scheme of things are a small rather insignificant club on the fringes of European football. There are 60 - 80 clubs and a few thousand players players playing in Europe today who are better players playing at bigger clubs.

The Hibs players are a collection of young players trying to make their way in the game (eg Stevenson,McNeil), some overseas mercenaries who are getting 10 times the wage back home (Zemmama and Benji), some players who will be leaving just as soon as they get a better offer (Brown, Whittaker and Murphy) and others who just canne wait to get oot the door (Stewart and Shiels) and some solid professionals who have probably reached their highest level (Jones,Boozy and Sproule).

Only Brown might possibly achieve what JC has in the game, none of the rest have a remote chance and it's quite rich of players who have played for rubbish such as Grimsby, Doncaster, Le Harve, Casablanca reserves and Salvesen and Hutchie Vale Boys clubs to begin to question fitness regimes, training methods and team selection
of a management team who come from the background of Celtic/Everton/Monaco and Newcastle.

you do have a significant point when you say 'Something else gone wrong here' because if this crisis is related to man management issues such as encouragement/bullying/favourtism or communication breakdown then JC and Hibs are in serious trouble.

Let us also contemplate that Mick..erm Mintie is also right when he says our players are all dedicated professionals...

IF dedicated professionals had a problem with things would they...

a) go sneaking to the press at every opportunity?
b) bitch to the general public?
c) raise the issue when the manager is out of the country via the press?
d) do all of this in the week leading up to the Scottish Cup Semi Final?

Now either there is no unrest...or there are no dedicated professionals at Easter Road. Or very few.

it strikes me that such stamina training might address a tendency for young players to fade out of the last 15 - 20 mins of game, that has not been unknown at ER.
