SIX "senior" players held the meeting with Petrie.

brown whitty stewart smurph hogg and deano

brown - away in the summer but still disgruntled
whitty - the next player in the thomo brown mould to big for ER
stewart - feckwit who needs to play to get a new club
smurph hogg and deano - all TM signings who left england to work with TM he's away and now they want to go bak to england - and deano isn't starting enough for his likening - I think deano believes his own hype...

Regardless of who is involved this is really bad!!!!!!! We have a semi coming up, and we need the players and manager focused. I fear the worst for sunday now guys. More importantly, I fear for the long term. Where do Hibs go now if this is all true?

I would agree with this TBF to Deano however i believe he should be given a better chance, his performances up to Xmas was pretty good and his goals/games ratio within that period was one of the better also.

lets face it a couple of years ago he'd be in the team no bother at all but who's he up against now:

benji or fletcher or zemama or stevenson...pretty tough competion for Left midfield/ CF

all have delivered to some extent.

sproule has sat out quite a bit with suspensions but still seems to offer more from wide right than deano does from wide left.

interesting that the aberdeen stuff came out though to try and unsettle him/hibs in the past......

When we were all crying out for him to play over the festive period he had a few cracking games and scored a few goals aswell.I don't really know what his goals per game ratio is but i bet it is pretty good considering the few games that he has actually started this season.I know hes been injured but IMO he should have played a part against st mirren and started at Dunfermline at the weekend.The guy is a really good player and when your sitting on the sidelines watching the pish that has been served up in the last few games,would you not be unhappy at not being given a chance

Sorry but i can't agree with this stuff about Deano, the laddie is quality and has scored a sh@t load of goals when he has played, although id suspect he'd be one of the disgruntled six.

I also think Brown & Stewart are definates, to be part of the six.

love st at the start of the season folk boo-ing when he was taken off, even though he was doing feck all on the pitch and tm was changing the shape to try and get us back in the game

FWIW I too expect that Jones would have been there, if only in his role as Captain.

If we accept that Brown, Murphy and Stewart are off at the end of the Season, then that only leaves another two names to find.
However, if the six are players who have not previously expressed an intention to leave, then it's all a bit more serious.
