Dont think so, although most of his family are afflicted with Guntitis.

The Whittaker you refer to, Brian, played for the Gunts for 6 years(84-90), who had signed him from the SDB's. He was a full back as well, but its never been publicised that he's related, so highly unlikely, as Whittaker was a big player for the Gunts in their Albert Kidd-hey days. So even the EEN/Hootsmon would've come up wae summit on the connection between Steven, the full back wae Hibs, and Brian, the full back wae the Gunts 20 years earlier, if there was one.

Brian Whittaker was from the West. He worked for Hearts in PR after he finished playing. Died in a car crash.

No connection to Stephen.

many thanks y'all...

my other slow burner idea is finding the match that has the most past and present spl managers in it?

hearts vs aberdeen

hearts

Robbo & Levein

aberdeen

mcleish & miller & strachan

or maybe invloving a celtic game

Yogi & Mowbray & John Colins & Derek Whyte

Don't think it would involve a hibs team though
