ON THE R0AD AGAIN TO GLASGOW……..
SUPPORTERS COACHES TRAVELLING TO HAMPDEN PARK
HIBERNIAN FC. V. DUNFERMLINE ATHLETIC F.C.
TENNENT’S SCOTTISH CUP SEMI FINAL
SUNDAY 15TH APRIL 2007


Strathclyde Police have again allocated the Polmadie area for Hibernian coaches and mini-buses heading to the match and have requested that the Club carry out similar arrangements which were put in place for previous visits to Hampden. This greatly assisted the traffic flow and allowed supporters to easily identify their coaches for the homeward journey.

In order to assist with these arrangements and ensure that a suitable number of coach parking areas are reserved for Hibernian Supporters, Coach Convenors/Organisers are requested to telephone the Club Switchboard on 0131 661 2159 and add details of their arrangements to the list.

Please note that these parking arrangements will also apply to minibuses.

Details should be passed to the Club no later than 5.pm. on Tuesday 10th April, 2007.

To assist with routing and parking arrangements the Club will post out a Coach Identity Pass and details of travel arrangements on Tues.10th/Wed.11th April. 2007.

Hopefully the police dont tell us to go in the wrong direction this time. My granda had a walking stick as he struggles to walk far and the Bastards of Strathclyde police thought it would be funny to send us the wrong direction towards the killie end. We asked them where the bus was as we knew it was parked outside a certain bar and knew the name of the street but they told us the wrong direction.

Every time I go to Hampden I end up trudging through a muddy field on the way back to my bus. I'm convinced there is a belt of bogland that circles the stadium. I'm wearing wellies to the semi-final.
