Hibernian FC today confirmed that permission had been received from Lothian & Borders Police for the team to parade the CIS Insurance Cup to supporters at the end of the Bank of Scotland Premier league match on Sunday 1 April 2007.

Speaking of the decision Chairman, Rod Petrie said, "Everyone at the Club was disappointed that the event in the Stadium last Sunday came to a premature end. That made it all the more important that the Club was able to present the trophy to supporters again at the first opportunity. With international football this weekend, that opportunity arises on Sunday 1 April when we play host to Heart of Midlothian in the League.

"Nothing will be done to deflect the team's focus from the match itself, which is being broadcast live on Setanta. Both teams will leave the field of play as normal at the end of the match, but the Hibernian team will return to the field with the CIS Insurance Cup shortly thereafter as part of a trophy parade.

"We therefore encourage supporters to remain within the stadium after the game so that we can all celebrate the team’s achievement in winning the CIS Insurance Cup

Ive actually got a good feeling about the waiting list, i sent my email in and forgot to put the no of tickets which i requirred on the email, Jen replied back to me and told me to include the no. of tickets i requirred as well as my contact phone number. Perhaps its standard practice at the ticket office just i felt if it was so tight to get tickets she wouldnt have bothered asking me how many i wanted and just assumed i only wanted one..... heres hoping anyway
